Registration demonstrates the participant&#8217;s compliance with these rules. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These regulations will be strictly complied with by all participants in the event called HUEX GRAN FONDO. Any incident not covered herein will be resolved by the HUEX GRAN FONDO Jury, the race&#8217;s Sports Director, a member of the organization, and a representative of the runners. <\/strong>event is organised by TerraIncognita Global SL.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bd3fce elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6bd3fce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The HUEX GRAN FONDO is a cyclo-sportive event with code: M.C. UCI Cycling for All, Free speed event.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">The HUEX GRAN FONDO has a distance of <b>154km<\/b> and<b> 2915m+.<\/b><\/span><\/p><p>The <span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">HUEX GRAN FONDO<\/span> will be held on <strong>Saturday 19th September <\/strong><b>2026 <\/b>from <b>08:00 hours.<\/b> The start will take place in the town of <span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">Aracena.<\/span><\/p><p>The HUEX GRAN FONDO is a non-competitive cycling event, whose main objective is to enjoy the route, the surroundings and the shared sporting experience.<\/p><p>During the first part of the route, up to approximately kilometre 35, the ride will take place at a controlled speed, with an average of approximately 25-30 km\/h, which will be higher on the downhill sections and lower on the uphill sections, in order to keep the peloton compact and prevent participants from falling outside the safety capsule in the early stages of the race.<\/p><p>In this section, cyclists will not be allowed to overtake the Civil Guard motorcycle or the organisation vehicle leading the race and marking the start of the peloton at any time.<\/p><p>Free speed will be authorised once the municipal boundary of Puerto Moral has been reached, after the first refreshment station in Higuera de la Sierra. From this point onwards, each participant will be able to ride at their own pace, although it should be remembered that the HUEX GRAN FONDO remains a non-competitive event and that extreme caution must be exercised at all times.<\/p><p>After being overtaken by the green flag, which indicates the end of the safety capsule, participants will ride in open traffic and must respect road safety rules and the instructions of the police and the organisation at all times.<\/p><p><b>The finish line for the participants will close at 17:00 hours on the same day.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7cacef3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7cacef3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fbd7b1c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fbd7b1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.3 SPORTS BEHAVIOUR AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b93eba7 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b93eba7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HUEX GRAN FONDO is held with absolute respect for the environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants must respect the environment in which the event takes place and keep the surroundings clean. To this end, they must eat and drink WITHOUT LEAVING ANY CONTAINERS OUTSIDE THE CONTAINERS provided for this purpose.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS POINT SHALL REQUIRE THE IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE RUNNER, who may be disqualified by a simple statement from any member of the organising team of the Race. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be disqualified from the competition if they show violent behaviour or litter in nature. It is compulsory to respect crops, livestock and private property in general. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants are responsible for any damage caused as a result of this type of behaviour.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organisation: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22ba74c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"22ba74c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20d812c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"20d812c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.4 PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c6e57d elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1c6e57d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Participation will be open to all those who correctly formalise both the REGISTRATION and the payment stipulated for the races. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The registration fee for the HUEX GRAN FONDO will be governed by the payment terms established on the <a class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sierranevadalimite.com\/inscripciones\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">registration<\/a> page.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Registration for the HUEX GRAN FONDO implies the acceptance of the rules and the adequate preparation of the participant for the race, being aware of the geographical and meteorological conditions that can be found in the environment where the event takes place. In this sense, the participant exempts the Organization from any possible health problems that may arise from their participation in the HUEX GRAN FONDO. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The runners registered for the race understand that they participate voluntarily and under their own responsibility in the event, and therefore, exonerate the Organisation of the race from all responsibility, and agree not to denounce the organising entity, collaborators, sponsors and other participants; The race route will be published on the official website of the race. Any change or modification will be made public by the same means.  <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><b>Each participant must follow the entire marked route, without skipping the signs and passing through all the checkpoints.<\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each participant is obliged to respond to the requests and questions of any commissaire, doctor, nurse or refreshment station manager, whether at stipulated checkpoints or at any other point along the route.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organisation: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race. Likewise, it is forbidden to be accompanied by other people who are not registered participants in the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">At each refreshment point there will be a specific closing time, and it is essential to pass before the established closing time in order to be able to continue in the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each refreshment post will have food and beverages that will vary depending on the kilometre where it is located. The food and drinks must be consumed at the refreshment post itself in sufficient quantity to guarantee sufficient energy reserves to be able to reach the next refreshment post, except for water, which can also be taken from the tanks and reservoirs carried by the runner. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><b>The race bib must be worn<\/b> in order to use the refreshment area.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><b>At the finish line in Aracen<\/b>a all participants will have an area with <strong>hot food, medical service, showers etc..<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14aa91c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"14aa91c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-171bdb1 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"171bdb1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.9 EXIT <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9baa35 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a9baa35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The race will have a single starting box so that all participants will start at the same time. <\/p><p>The first kilometers of the urban section will be neutralized and the motorcycles will not be able to overtake at any time with the red flag of the Guardia Civil de Tr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ce840b4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"ce840b4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0d04723 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0d04723\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.10 SECURITY CAPSULE <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c4d4420 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c4d4420\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The race takes place with traffic closed to the passage of the safety capsule marked by the Traffic Police.<\/p><p>The safety capsule has a width of approximately 35 minutes from the head of the race and is marked by a red flag at the front and a green flag at the rear.<\/p><p>During the first part of the route, up to approximately kilometre 35, the race will be run at a controlled speed, with an average of approximately 25 km\/h, which will be higher on downhill sections and lower on uphill sections, in order to keep the peloton compact and prevent participants from falling outside the safety capsule in the early stages of the race.<\/p><p>In this section, cyclists will not be allowed to overtake the Civil Guard motorcycle or the organisation vehicle leading the race and marking the start of the peloton at any time.<\/p><p>Free speed will be authorised once the municipal boundary of Puerto Moral has been reached, after the first refreshment station in Higuera de la Sierra. From this point onwards, each participant may ride at their own pace, although it should be remembered that the HUEX GRAN FONDO remains a non-competitive event and that extreme caution must be exercised at all times.<\/p><p>Any participant who is overtaken by the green flag will be outside the safety zone and will therefore be riding in open traffic, and must respect all traffic regulations under their own responsibility.<\/p><p>After the green flag, there will be an organisation vehicle informing all participants who are overtaken by the green flag that, from that moment on, traffic is open and that they must drive with the necessary caution and respect traffic regulations.<\/p><p>Participants who are outside the safety capsule will have their race number marked with a sticker for identification purposes. It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners in any type of motor vehicle or on wheels (skates, bicycles, etc &#8230;), being expressly ordered by the Local Police to remove them from the circuit.  A broom vehicle will be available at the tail end of the race to pick up runners who for any reason do not wish or are unable to continue the race. The runner must hand it in before entering the starting box. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The Organization will not check the condition of the bag or the material inside it, so it will not be liable for any claims for breakage of the bag and\/or the material inside it, nor for the loss of the objects it contains. It is therefore <b>recommended<\/b> <b>that both the bag and the material inside it are not fragile or valuable and that the closure of the bag is well secured to prevent loss in transport.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-55cfd25 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Throughout the race there will be several medical and security teams that will be coordinated with 112 by the central management of the HUEX GRAN FONDO.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">These teams will be distributed among the different refreshment posts and the runner will be able to request their help or assistance if needed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">All runners will submit to the doctor&#8217;s judgment whenever requested by the doctor, being the assessment of the medical team the one that prevails over any other, so the doctors may:<\/span><\/p><ul class=\"font_7 wixui-rich-text__text\"><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Eliminate from the race (by cancelling the race bib) any runner who is deemed unfit to continue.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ed06a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><b>Abandonments must be made at the Control Points.<\/b> If due to an accident or injury the runner is immobilized and cannot reach a checkpoint, he\/she will activate the rescue operation by <strong>contacting the organization by telephone through the Emergency Mobile Phone number indicated on the race bib.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Once at the refreshment post, the runner will communicate his desire to abandon the race to the person in charge of the refreshment post so that he can cancel his race bib and identify him as having withdrawn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">It should be noted that only at the refreshment posts, indicated as points with RETURN CONTROL, there will be means of transport to evacuate runners who abandon the race.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In the event that the retired runner chooses to return by his own means, he must also inform the person in charge of the refreshment post of his abandonment so that he can cancel his bib and identify him as retired, otherwise the Organization will consider him <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e90aee3 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e90aee3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In case of bad weather conditions or force majeure, the Organization reserves the right to suspend, neutralize or modify the time slots and\/or the route of the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In case of cancellation of the race due to force majeure and more than 7 days before the start date, a partial refund of the registration fee will be made according to the date of the cancellation and therefore of the expenses already incurred.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In the event of cancellation during the 7 days prior to the start of the HUEX GRAN FONDO and for reasons beyond the control of the Organisation, or in the event of suspension of the race once the start has taken place, no reimbursement will be made.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8fbdf50 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" elementor-size-default\">Art.16 PENALTIES AND DISQUALIFICATIONS <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e614e50 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e614e50\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Strictly speaking, penalties will be applied to those participants who:<\/span><\/p><ul><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Do not respect the highway code.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Do not respect the security instructions given by the police and the organisers.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Do not pass through the start checkpoint and other checkpoints along the route.<\/li><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Litter or degrade the route by littering.<\/li><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Have their own support vehicle, hindering the progress of the rest.<\/li><li class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Behaviour which impedes the normal running of the race and which is contrary to these regulations.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"> <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Members of law enforcement and the Organisation will take note of those who engage in any of the behaviours listed above.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The organisation is committed to the other participants and to the authorities to sanction them effectively. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The penalty will be:<\/span><\/p><ul class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Disqualification from the race.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Inclusion in lists of sanctioned participants, for subsequent publication.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Prohibition to participate in other editions of the race.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Sanctions imposed by the authorities, to which he\/she may be entitled as a result of his\/her attitude.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80ed442 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con Finisher Medal will be awarded to all participants who complete the HUEX GRAN FONDO within the established claim to the Race Organisation must present a <b>deposit of 60 \u20ac<\/b> which will only be returned if the claim is favourable to the claimant.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each complaint will be studied and resolved by the competition jury, which will be made up of:<\/span><\/p><ul class=\"font_7 wixui-rich-text__text\"><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">A referee<\/span><\/p><\/li><li be the cause or victim of the participant, who must be covered by the corresponding federation licence or accident insurance contracted with the organisation in the event of not being a member of the federation. Neither is the organisation responsible for any expenses or debts that participants may incur during the race, nor for any loss, theft, damage or breakdown of bicycles or other equipment belonging to the participants. Any media or advertising project must first have the express written consent of the organisers. The recipients of this data are the entity itself. The participant is responsible for the veracity and correctness of the data provided and has the right to exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of their data within the scope recognised by Organic Law 15\/99 of 13 December.
